Yeah I don't write too many journals here (yeah, whopping four with this one) but I finally have something to write about. Let me explain where this challenge is coming from before I flat out state it (Skip the next paragraph if you don't care):

I've been obsessing lately over Super Smash Bros. Brawl. I'm sure there are a lot of you who have been doing the same, and maybe unlike some of you, I started to see that I was reaching an unhealthy obsession (some of my friends saying right now "damn straight"). Well, for those of you who haven't heard (SPOILERS RIGHT NOW) Brawl contains only two Third-party characters...a little disappointing. I was really hoping for a square and capcom character (firmly desired Mega Man, I was open on Square). However, I got to thinking about who I would really like to be the representative from Square. Sure, I though about the obvious ones first: Cloud, Sephiroth, Sora; but I thought that they just might not be as awesome of someone else due to shock factor. So, searching my soul, I decided who would have the shock factor and uniqueness to truly make me giddy by their appearance in Smash Bros. That Square character would be...AERITH (Aeris for those who disagree, I'm not sure what is canon now). Yes, think about it. She was taken from us so suddenly, and continued to be a central character even though she did not fight in our random battles. She succeeded in summoning Holy to save the world of FF7, and restored Cloud's faith in Advent Children. She even made charming appearances in Kingdom Hearts. Aerith has been buried in a special place in our hearts and it's about time she got a chance for REVENGE!

So now I come to the challenge...Design a Battle Ready Aerith! I've only seen one piece on this site so far of an attempt at portraying Aerith as a fighter, but it's too revealing for Smash Bros. The rules are as follows:
-Design a battle costume for Aerith. Try not to 100% copy any of her previous or upcoming costumes (I mean Crisis Core). Allude to them if you want.
-She can be trying to hit other people, in the middle of a fight, or performing moves.
-Base her weapon on her pole, preferably her standard one as that's what would be most likely used.
-Include in your description your picks for her special moves and final smash. Go ahead and be as detailed as you want.
-Color or Black N White is ok, just make sure it's clean
-Lastly, and most importantly design the costume as if Nintendo would be putting her in Smash Bros. AKA not super revealing! I know it's fun, but do two then.

That's it. No due date, I don't even expect too many people to attempt this, let alone read this. I'll be working on this one for a while. I have a hard time making outfits, I'll be taking special care for this, and school sux (obviously). Reward...well I thought this would just be fun and original so, recognition. Hell, for the person's submission I like the most I will immediately watch for eternity and favorite everything in your gallery...and buy the print if of it if you make it so. Once again, I don't really expect anyone to try this except myself, but here's to hoping! L
